About us
Freemasonry provides the common foundation for friendships between members, many of which will last for life. It also brings people together regardless of their race, religion or any other perceived differences that can divide us as a society
Kindness and charitable giving are deeply ingrained within the principles of Freemasonry and the organisation provides the structure for members to make positive contributions to their communities and various causes.
At Concord Lodge, we are proud to play an active part in supporting many local and national charities.

Our Regular Meeting schedule for 2026:

3rd Friday in February (20 February 2026) Double Second Degree Ceremony on behalf of Invictus 9960
3rd Friday in April (17 April 2026) Double First Degree – Initiation
3rd Friday in June (19 June 2026)
3rd Friday in September, Installation, (18 September 2026) at 6pm
3rd Friday November (20 November 2026)
Meetings start at 6.45pm followed by a meal together – our Festive Board
Lodge Rehearsals take place at 7pm on the Friday of the week before each meeting.

How do I join?
If you are considering joining us in Freemasonry, then you perhaps share our values and are looking for guidance about joining a Lodge. The following explains what we look for in our members.
Belief in a greater being – your particular faith/religion is not our concern and does not affect your ability to join. If you are in doubt, do please ask us and we will answer your questions.
A male (or legally a male) at least 18 years of age. Ladies do have their own female-only organisations, which are quite separate and unconnected with us.
You must be a free man of reputable circumstances. That is to say, you must be legally capable of making your own decisions on your own account and have not been convicted of any serious offence, or awaiting the outcome of criminal proceedings.
Your application to join
Contrary to popular myth, you don’t have to wait for someone to ask you if you want to join; it is simply up to you to ask.
